Social Media
by
We use social media to connect with one another when being face-to-face isn’t possible.
Every post
should have this
deeply personal
element in mind.
Human experiences mean everything: The actions we share with others create a lasting impression. Yet, in a digital landscape, interactions often lack the immediacy and intimacy of face-to-face communication.
To bridge this gap, we must be exceptionally personable with our social media presence and overall digital profile.
These interactions foster trust, authenticity, and relatability, making that profile more memorable and engaging. Ultimately, being personable helps transcend swipes, scrolls, and fleeting transactional exchanges. When done well, we build enduring relationships and propel this communication to real life.
My Strategy
The more meaningless work – scrolling, reading, clicking, and app switching – someone’s doing, the less likely we are to gain them as a follower. Every character, link, and graphic element must have heart.
We must understand what our purpose is on social media. If it’s personal, does interacting feel satisfying? If it’s professional, are we offering value to our audiences and transferring that to action?
For the time investment we’re making, we must understand which actions create the best balance of efficiency and return. Yet, this requires us to try new things and inevitably make mistakes. Grow.
Analytics
Decisions must be data-driven. Aside from the range of in-app and third-party analytics tools, it’s important to know what’s uniquely important to you, how to tract it efficiently, and how set goals.
Here’s a quick, simple example of this in action:
GOAL: Grow following by an 8th within 1 year.
(self-imposed KPI set in 2019 with FOX Rehabilitation)

- My competition 44%
The Products
This afternoon Penn Community Bank closed and sent 300 team members to volunteer with Greater Philadelphia organizations as part of a Day of Service. We are beyond honored to be a part of the event. More than a dozen of their staff met at the gazebo behind our Brookwood building, learned about our mission, presented us with a $10,000 DONATION (!), and then grabbed buckets of stain and gave the structure new life! Give them a HUGE 👏👏👏
(We then treated them to a little bit of animal cuteness)
"Who's ready for some quadruped alternating arm & leg lifts!?!?" #OlderPeopleSayings
We’ve taken a huge step forward in helping older adults achieve what they once thought impossible. #StopTheCap is now #StoppedTheCap!
We welcome these 8 newly graduated professionals to our primarily clinician owned and operated private practice

First of all, thank you for personifying clinical excellence. Second, Daniel Elliott, PT, MPT, GCS, CEEAA, wrote for #FreshFOXContent about why he got his GCS and how to prepare to get a certification.
New policy: Soak our CEO.
Tine Hansen-Turton always loves the chance to hang with our residents, and we love the entertainment.
Like free people everywhere, we at Woods condemn the brutal and illegal invasion of Ukraine by Russia and stand with the Ukrainian people in their fight to save their country.
To those with friends or family in Ukraine or Eastern Europe, we want you to know you are not alone at this difficult time.
We believe in democracy and every persons’ right to self-determination and to be treated equitably and without prejudice. We advocate for these principles every day alongside those we serve who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. For the people of Ukraine, these rights are tragically under attack. May this conflict end quickly and peacefully.
Yours,
Tine Hansen-Turton and Woods' Senior Management
"What if frailty could be measured in less than 1 min? What if that measurement could predict mortality, functional status, & physical performance in older adults? Would you embrace it? I hope the answer is a resounding yes."
